Choir Rehearsal Fridays 4-5 PM

Choir begins on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 4-5pm.  This time allows us to take advantage of the fact that we are a community of seniors, weekenders, and “flex” schedulers of all ages and backgrounds, and can rehearse a little earlier in the day when the light is upon us!  The first Sunday Service with Choir is September 20, 2009.

Our musical work at St John’s encompasses a vast body of musical tradition –from the Reformation to contemporary congregational song. Each week, we work hard to offer a rich and diverse musical experience for the congregation so that all people feel welcomed in our worship. This is our highest form of hospitality.

New members are given a warm welcome from this very friendly group. We are aware of how much we benefit from growth and new voices, new expressions, and new personalities. There is no prerequisite for singing with us-only a love of music.

We invite anyone who may like to join us this season to come on September 5 and try us on!
